Blackwood Crossing eBook Review
*I received a copy of Blackwood Crossing by MK McClintock for free to review.
Blackwood Crossing is book two of The British Agents Historical Romantic Mysteries
If you had to make a choice, would it be loyalty or love?
Torn between loyalty to her family and refusal to marry a laird she despises, Rhona Davidson accepts a dangerous proposal from a man she knows only as Blackwood.
Leaving behind a life of leisure, Charles Blackwood bravely serves his country with honor and the skill of a trained British agent. When his newest case returns him to the wild Highlands of Scotland, he is faced with a choice between killing a man and saving the only woman he has ever loved.
Charles and Rhona join their lives, only to discover that their choices will result in bloodshed, unless they can uncover a truth long buried, deep in the Highland soil.
While this book has a G rating for Romance,I honestly thought there would be more romantic moments in the book between Charles and Rhona. It is very mild compared to some historical books I have read.
It is a very good mystery and detective story. I love the historical aspect of MK McClintock's books and I hope to read more in the future. This book was beautifully written and I couldn't put it down. I finished reading it within a day.
If you would like to obtain a copy of this book,It is available through Smashwords and Amazon. Smashwords has various ebook formats available and through Amazon it is available on Kindle and Paperback.
